My Labyrinth

Lost in the Labyrinth of life; Chaos, sadness, desperation is rife.

I tried, but couldn’t find a way; Emotionless, everything turned grey.

Passages and streets, I had walked. Looking for reason, I had baulked.

I searched for an exit, but couldn’t escape; hollowness within, began to shape.

Lonely, I’m stuck in this maze; Living a routine, counting the days.

Day after day, it’s taking a toll; The Labyrinth, my life it stole.

Journey to the centre and back again; Searching for meaning, searching for zen.

My purpose, my path; Questioning, the aftermath.
